When you are out on the road and using the Numerik mobile app, there's a quick and easy way to take notes against your customers for future use without having to sit and type out a paragraph using your keyboard.

STEP 1: To access your notes for a customer, simply click the Numerik logo on your mobile app and select search from the menu. Start typing in the customers name and they should appear on the list - then click their name to be taken to the notes section.

STEP 2: Click on the COMMENT box at the bottom of the screen which will bring up your keyboard. You should see a microphone symbol similar to the below - click on the microphone which should allow you to start talking and your phone will convert it to text!

STEP 3: Once you've finished speaking, you can tag the note as a follow-up or opportunity, and then click send. This will save the note against the customer for future reference, and if you've added it as a follow-up or an opportunity, you'll be able to see it on your activity report as an action you have to take!

INSTALLING GBOARD FOR VOICE TO TEXT

Numerik recommends the use of Gboard (which does come standard on certain phones). From speaking with those Numerik users who use this feature, this gives the best voice to text translation and will hopefully pick up on your local accent as well!

Visit your app store on your phone and search for Gboard - I have a Google phone and this is already installed however for Samsung and iPhone you may need to install this to get best results.

LOT'S MORE TO COME IN THIS SPACE

We are working on some new features that will add more and more value to you as a sales person in being able to add notes against your customers. We always appreciate your feedback so if you have any suggestions, please let us know at support@numerik.ly!
