We're excited to introduce Opportunity Archiving, a new feature that automatically archives Opportunities that have reached a completed status and have remained inactive for a specified period.
Why use Opportunity Archiving?
Completed Opportunities often remain in the system indefinitely because they've already reached their final outcome. Over time, these records can accumulate, making it harder to navigate Opportunity lists and increasing the overall volume of records in the system.
With Opportunity Archiving, these completed Opportunities can now be automatically moved to the archive after a configurable period of inactivity, helping keep your active Opportunity list clean, relevant, and easier to manage.
Which Opportunities are archived?
Only Opportunities that are in a closed/completed status (any Opportunity status that belongs to a Closed category) are eligible for archiving.
Open or active Opportunities are not affected by this feature.
How to configure Opportunity Archiving
A team administrator can configure this setting by navigating to:
Settings → Tags, KPIs & Opportunities → Opportunity Statuses
For each closed Opportunity status, enter an Inactivity Ageing value.
This value represents the number of days since the Opportunity was last updated or edited before it is automatically archived.
How is this different from Opportunity Ageing?
This feature works similarly to the existing Opportunity Ageing functionality, but serves a different purpose.
Opportunity Ageing | Opportunity Archiving |
Applies to active Opportunities | Applies only to completed/closed Opportunities |
Uses Inactivity Ageing Days | Uses Inactivity Ageing Days |
Highlights ageing Opportunities in yellow to prompt follow-up | Automatically archives completed Opportunities after the configured period of inactivity |
Think of Opportunity Ageing as a reminder to take action, while Opportunity Archiving is a way to keep your Opportunity list organised once work has been completed.
Viewing Archived Opportunities
Archived Opportunities are not deleted—they're simply hidden from the default Opportunity view to reduce clutter.
A new filter option allows users to choose whether to:
Hide Archived Opportunities (default view), or
Show Archived Opportunities when historical records need to be viewed or referenced.
This gives users quick access to archived records without impacting the visibility of active Opportunities.
Benefits
Keep Opportunity lists clean and easy to navigate.

Improve visibility of active work.
Automatically archive completed Opportunities after a period of inactivity.
