There are 3 ways to bring sales and customer data through into Numerik.

  1. By manual web uploader

  2. By email import

  3. By API Endpoint

The below instructions will show you how to configure Numerik to receive Sales Data files via email.

You can find the configuration pages under the Integrations section on the Side Menu (note these are only available on our desktop application).

Data Import

First you need to setup the configurations for the integration.

Error Emails: Enter an email address for any errors to be sent to. This address should be for a user or group that should be notified of any errors. Errors should be investigated, rectified, and the data resent to Numerik.

Column Mappings: Here you can upload a file that you've exported from your system. This will not upload the data into Numerik; it simply allows you to map the columns from your file to the fields that we are expecting. Any required fields will be highlighted in red, however you can see the data file requirements here.

Email Import

You then need to setup the configurations specific to the email integration.

Import Address: This is the email address to send your data files to. This address will automatically process any files that are emailed to it. Copy and paste the address into your system when configuring your export processes.

Email Senders: This is a whitelist of email addresses that are authorised to send data to Numerik. Any emails that we receive to your unique import address that are not on the authorised list will be rejected and an error email sent.

Subject Mappings: This is where you need to specify what the Subject Line of the email will be. This should specify the type of data that is being supplied, and match to what your system will be exporting.

Data Import Errors

Any errors will be emailed to the "Error Emails" recipients, and will also be recorded on the Data Import Errors page. The offending data file can also be downloaded from this page to allow for easy access to resolve any issues.

Integration Connection

Once Numerik has been configured to receive your data files via Email, you will then need to setup your own system to export the data on a regular schedule. We recommend that this is done at least daily, and that you export the last 7 days of data each time to ensure the systems stay synchronised.
