This is a step-by-step guide to focus on making the most out of Revenue Stream feature of Numerik.

In the dynamic world of sales, staying ahead requires not just agility but also access to real-time data. For sales representatives, the ability to make quick decisions, enhance customer interactions, and maximize effectiveness is paramount. This is where a robust system that provides real-time sales data comes into play.ย

Step 1: Check Real-Time Sales Data for Quicker Decision-Making:

Click on Revenue Stream tile on the landing page to easily access the sales that have come in. One of the primary benefits of providing on-the-road sales reps with real-time data is the ability to make quick and informed decisions. With the latest sales data at their fingertips, reps can adapt their strategies on the fly, identifying trends, and adjusting their approach to meet changing market demands.

Step 2: Set Threshold Amount

To further enhance the utility of real-time sales data, the system provides flexible filtering options. Sales reps can change filters to search for specific customers, set minimum thresholds for sales, or expand the timeframe for a broader analysis. This flexibility ensures that the data is not only real-time but also tailored to the specific needs and goals of the sales team.

Step 3: Check totals for the day

The feature of summarizing total sales for the day provides a quick snapshot of performance, allowing sales reps to gauge their progress and meet targets more effectively. They can easily check the totals from yesterday and also keep an eye on the current sales.

Step 4: Check Invoices

The ability to click on individual sales to access detailed invoice summaries adds granularity to the tracking process, enabling reps to review transactions in-depth and address any discrepancies promptly.

Additional Steps:

Click on Actions button at the bottom of the invoice to get fast access to tracking customer performance, viewing contacts linked to the customer or even update the Forecast - giving you options to promptly get insights, call or interact with the customer or even update the forecast if an unexpected sale has come in (or missed).

Another handy feature is to click on the customer's name on the invoice to directly land Customer Dashboard area and analyse customer performance.

Forecast Stream:

The stream feature also allows you to easily view how you are tracking against the Forecast for each customer. If you click on the 'Forecast' tab instead of revenue it takes you to the stream of all the latest forecast updates made against the customer.

You can choose to either view Forecast stream or Forecast variance. The Forecast stream will show you all the latest Forecast updates per day whereas the variance will show you whether the Forecast update was an increment or decrement to the initial Forecast value.

Conclusion:

Equipping salespeople with real-time sales data is not just about tracking performance; it's about unlocking new revenue streams. The ability to make quick decisions, improve customer interactions, and enhance overall effectiveness sets the stage for increased sales and sustained growth. As the sales landscape continues to evolve, the integration of real-time data becomes not only a competitive advantage but a strategic necessity for sales teams looking to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
