Sharing Customers in Numerik

This article is a step-by-step guide to sharing customers

Sharing (or un-sharing) of customers among Sales reps or BDMs is very easy in Numerik. The customers are shared by sharing a scorecard within Numerik. The scorecard can either be shared by Sales Manager (for sharing full company customers) or Area managers (for sharing customers from a region or area). The scorecards are also sometimes shared from a rep to their BDMs and vice versa or to their support team.

Sharing Scorecards (customers):

To share scorecard from an account we need to follow the following steps-

  1. To go the desktop version of Numerik.

  2. Click on the scorecard you want to share.

  3. Click on the share icon on the right side of the screen (sitting with other icons).

  4. This will bring up the full list of all users from your team. Select the name you want the scorecards to be shared with.

  5. Click on the share button and the scorecards will be shared.

Checking Permissions on Shared Scorecards:

Once the scorecards are shared with the users, we need to make sure the permissions of the scorecard view are correct.

For example - if we only want to share scorecards for the purpose of sharing customers and don't want one rep to see other reps' numbers or performance, then we can restrict their view.

Alternatively, we can also give some extra permissions of editing Forecasts for the shared user or download the grid if it's required for their role.

To check or edit permissions of shared scorecards, go to the side-bar menu and click on 'Sharing'.

Note: if you can't find a sharing icon in the side bar menu - make sure to refresh your screen and the icon will appear (this mostly happens if the scorecard is shared for the first time from an account).

Clicking on the sharing icon brings up a list of all shared scorecards and usernames with different permissions that can be ticked and un-ticked to allow/restrict permissions. Click on save once the permissions are edited as required.

Un-Sharing Scorecards (Customers):

To un-share customers or scorecards, we need to follow the same steps given above for sharing a scorecard - except we untick the name we want to un-share the scorecard with and press on 'share' again. This will un-share the scorecard from the un-ticked user.
