The Comparison Widget on Customer Dashboard gives you a product group level average spend comparison between our selected customer and other customers within the grouping.

The customer grouping can be based on category, locality or other groupings as selected in the settings area.

Default grouping: when a customer does not belong to the customer grouping selected for comparison, then it defaults to the Reps customer base as group, as show in the picture below.

The comparison widget is divided into 2 lists:

  1. Top product groups: these are the product groups where our selected customer is ahead in spending compared to the average spend by the other customers in the same group. The amount by which our selected customer is ahead of the average as well as the percentage is provided.

  2. Bottom product groups: this shows up the gaps for our customer. These are the product groups where our customers spend is lagging behind the average spend of others in the group.

    This is also an area to find any hidden opportunities. If the customer is far behind the average group spend for a certain product group, they can be offered those product groups.

A reminder that the comparison widget is also part of the Customer View in Numerik - so don't forget to share that view with your customer and talk about those hidden opportunities!
